Eating Disorders

Eating disorders are experienced in a number of different ways, including the individual restricting eating (Anorexia Nervosa); bingeing (Bulimia Nervosa); making themselves sick; eating too much. They can have an extreme impact on the sufferer’s personality and make them unable to function in their everyday lives.

If left untreated for a long period, eating disorders can have serious consequences on the sufferer’s physical health. Family and friends often find it very difficult to cope with the unusual behaviours of their loved one and need support to manage this well.

At Twenty20 Psychology, we have a specialist Clinical Psychologist working in Eating Disorders who is able to assess and treat people suffering from eating disorders across the age range.
